Yoga Exercise Class

Before taking part in this physical yoga class provided by the Australian School of Meditation & Yoga ABN 48 002 506 461 (ASMY) please carefully read the following Release from Liability terms. If you proceed with the class, you will be taken to have agreed to the following:

– If I am under 18 my parent or guardian has read this and also agreed on my behalf

– Physical exercise is not without risk of injury which can be serious or disabling.

– I will discontinue or ease off if at any time I feel pain, strain or discomfort and consult a medical professional if required. Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Yoga is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions.

– If I have a pre-existing condition or are pregnant I will not proceed until I have consulted a medical professional about the safety of this activity.

– I am participating in this online class voluntarily and I assume full responsibility for any and all damage or injury which I may incur or cause through my participation. I am not covered by ASMY insurance.

– I am responsible for assessing (in conjunction with my medical professionals) my ability to engage in this class and the suitability and safety of the physical space I am using.

– I do not hold ASMY or the teachers responsible for, and fully release and discharge them from any claim for loss damage or injury, incurred as a result of participating in this class.

– If this is a Moderate or Dynamic class I have undertaken a number of classes in the level below (as some of the instruction provided in the level below may be assumed).

Yoga Lifestyle Class

Before taking part in this yoga lifestyle class (vegetarian cooking, massage, introductions to yoga hygiene techniques, kirtan, etc.) provided by the Australian School of Meditation & Yoga ABN 48 002 506 461 (ASMY) please carefully read the following Release from Liability terms. If you proceed with the class you will be taken to agree to the following:

– If I am under 18 my parent or guardian has read this and also agreed on my behalf

– I am participating in this online class voluntarily and I assume full responsibility for any and all damage or injury which I may incur of cause through my participation. I am not covered by ASMY insurance. I am responsible assessing my ability to engage in this class and the suitability and safety of the physical space, fixtures and equipment I am using.

– I am responsible for not participating in this class in a manner that may breach any laws (social distancing, etc.)

– Massage is not without risk of injury. I will discontinue or ease off if there is pain, strain or discomfort and consult a medical professional if required.

– Massage is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Massage is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. If there are pre-existing conditions I will not proceed until I have consulted a medical professional about the safety of this activity.

– Massage instruction is introductory, only for relaxation with close family or friends not therapeutic use.

– I do not hold ASMY or the teachers responsible for, and fully release and discharge them from any claim for loss damage or injury, incurred as a result of participating in this class.

Terms & Conditions for Unlimited Memberships

- During your membership, you are able to place the membership on hold. For the 6 month unlimited pass, a freeze is available for a max of 14 days. For the 1 year unlimited pass, a freeze is available for a max of 28 days.
- All hold and cancellation requests must be submitted online and emailed to janina@asmy.org.au.
- For all membership holds, we require a minimum of 1 week written notice, prior to the hold taking place.
- Memberships are non-transferable.
- Unlimited memberships are for Mermaid Beach only.

Unlimited memberships are a locked in contract unless:
- You move further than 20kms away
- You have an injury/health issue that doesn't allow you to come (requires a doctor’s certificate)
- You lose your job
