Empty Hands Martial Arts

Empty Hands Martial Arts (EHMA) was formed to promote the awareness and growth of Ed. Parkers American Kenpo (EPAK) within South Australia. Established in 2008, EHMA aims to offer it’s members access to the highest quality training by some of the foremost modern day Kenpo authorities from around the world. Sensei Tim Barnes is the Head Instructor of EHMA.

EHMA continues to go from strength to strength, growing from a handful of students to more than 100 members training regularly by 2013 across 4 locations in the north eastern suburbs of Adelaide. We have an amazingly loyal group of students who support EHMA and make it a place to be proud of.

All our instructors are internationally ranked and qualified, 1st aid qualified and police checked. We are proud to be part of Mr Graham Lelliott's Kenpo Family Tree, and part of his Kenpo family in Australia.

Training is conducted in an environment that fosters humility, ethical behaviour, friendship and fun. Everyone is made to feel welcome, valued and respected. We recognize that each person’s journey is different and that one person is no less valuable than another’s.
