Ascension Muay Thai was founded by Zac Lecarre‑Covill, who began training at 9 years old and has over the past 17 years competed across Queensland. At 16, he represented Australia at the IFMA World Games in Bangkok, winning gold.

Since opening Ascension Muay Thai, Zac has continued to compete under his own gym, earning the WBC Queensland Title and the WKBF Australian Title. His active fight experience shapes the gym’s coaching, training methods, and culture.
