Meet Donna
Donna is the founder and heart behind Donna Gunn Fitness.
A Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and Rapid Transformational Therapy Practitioner, Donna brings together strength training, nutrition strategy, mindset work and nervous system awareness through her signature approach... The Forge Method.
Having lost 75kg herself and walked the long road of rebuilding her relationship with food, movement and self-worth, Donna understands that real change isn’t about pushing harder... it’s about being supported properly.
The Forge Method is grounded in the belief that we don’t need to be broken down to be rebuilt. Like a forge, this work applies intentional pressure, care and refinement... shaping strength from the inside out.
Clients are supported to:
- Build physical strength with confidence
- Regulate their nervous systems and reduce overwhelm
- Improve blood sugar balance, recovery and consistency
- Learn when to push and when to soften
- Reconnect with their bodies in a way that feels safe and sustainable

Meet Layth
Layth is the quiet strength behind the scenes and an integral part of the Donna Gunn Fitness tribe.
A natural leader and deeply grounded presence, Layth brings calm, integrity and steadiness into the space. He embodies what it means to lead with strength and kindness... showing that true power comes from consistency, respect and connection.
As Donna’s partner in life, business and training, Layth is also proof that strength and softness can coexist. He helps set the tone for a space that feels safe, inclusive and supportive... for women and women alike.
And yes... he’s also the best training partner you could ask for.
Meet Jo — Mat Pilates
Jo brings Foundations Mat Pilates into the space, beautifully complementing the Forge Method.
Jo brings intelligence, integrity and deep respect for the body. Her sessions are thoughtful and empowering, focused on posture, core awareness, breath and controlled movement... helping people feel stronger, more connected and more confident in their bodies.
Pilates here isn’t an add-on... it’s an integration.
It supports recovery, mobility, nervous system regulation and confidence in movement... making it an ideal entry point for many and a powerful companion to strength training.
Jo’s work helps the body move better, feel safer and perform more effectively... both inside and outside the studio. Jo and Donna have been friends for over 30 years. Their shared passion for helping others feel strong and confident has bought them together in this space.
