New Culture Movement – Membership Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions outline the expectations and responsibilities of members at New Culture Movement and form part of your agreement upon joining.

1. No Lock-In Contracts

At New Culture Movement, we believe in freedom and trust. All our memberships are contract-free, meaning you’re not locked into a long-term commitment. However, we do ask for a minimum of four (4) weeks' written notice to cancel your membership.

2. Payments

Membership fees are charged fortnightly via direct debit or card through our secure payment system.

Failed payments may incur a small admin fee and must be settled before resuming training.

Members must always keep their payment details up to date.

All memberships are subject to a one-time joining fee of $50.00, payable upon registration. This fee helps cover your onboarding, admin setup, and access to our member portal and app.

Your fortnightly membership fee will be debited on a recurring basis through our secure payment system. All fees are outlined at the time of signup and may be subject to change with 30 days’ notice.

3. Cancellations & Suspensions

To cancel your membership, please email ncm_morrisplace@outlook.com with your full name and request at least 4 weeks before your intended stop date.

During this 4-week notice period, payments will continue as normal, and you will have full access to all classes and facilities.

We allow suspensions/holds for holidays or medical reasons, with a minimum hold period of 1 week and a maximum of 6 weeks per calendar year. Holds must be requested in writing at least 5 days in advance.

4. Class Bookings & Attendance

We recommend booking your classes via our app or online system to secure your spot.

Late cancellations (within 2 hours of class start time) or no-shows may count as a used session for those on limited memberships.

Please arrive on time, respect the class format, and bring a towel and water bottle.

5. Health & Safety

By joining, you confirm that you are physically able to participate in group training and boxing sessions.

You agree to disclose any medical or physical conditions that may impact your ability to train safely.

If unsure, please seek medical clearance before beginning any fitness program.

6. Respect & Conduct

We are a community-first space. We ask all members to treat each other, our team, and our space with respect.

Bullying, harassment, or unsafe behaviour will result in immediate suspension or cancellation of membership at our discretion.

7. Media Release (Optional)

From time to time, we capture footage and photos during training. By signing up, you grant permission for your image to be used in promotional material unless you advise us otherwise in writing.

8. Changes to Terms

New Culture Movement reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Members will be notified via email and/or app with reasonable notice.
