Sunshine Coast Karate was established in the year 2000, by husband & wife team Martin & Sandra Phillips after relocating to the Sunshine Coast to pursue their lifetime dream of teaching karate full-time.
Over the years they have helped thousands of students of all ages grow confidence, become stronger, fitter & more healthy, develop razor-sharp focus, and learn lifesaving self-defence skills.
Martin & Sandra, along with their team of instructors are more passionate than ever about helping people bring out the best in themselves and each other through the practice of karate.
The practice of karate helps students develop greater self-awareness and self-acceptance whilst also teaching students valuable skills that can be applied to all areas of life.
Their greatest joy still comes from hearing stories from students & parents of how karate has transformed their lives.
It’s especially heartwarming how this community has helped families come together and embrace life more fully.
