VFS Academy Rules and Regulations

VFS Academy is committed to provide a happy, safe and respectful environment for our martial arts students, customers and coaches.  

The school rules are designed to ensure that all students can practice discipline, as well as enjoy a positive, welcoming, and clean training environment. All students, parents, customers and guests are expected to abide by our rules and regulations.

1. Anyone training on the floor must sign a Waiver and Release of Liability form. 

2. Student memberships must in good standing and monthly dues must be up to date.

3. Dress Code: All students must honor our martial arts dress code. Students must wear appropriate gym wear – shorts, warm up pants, yoga pants and a t-shirt or sweatshirt. Dresses and jeans are not allowed.  

4. Students must place all shoes on the racks before class. At the end of class, students must make sure to grab all their equipment and gear. VFS Academy is not responsible for any items left at the school.  

5. Show respect to your coaches. Students are asked to call all instructors “Coach”.  

6. Do not talk while the instructor is talking. It distracts those who are trying to learn, and it is disrespectful to the coach, as well as other students. No playing in class.  

7. Students must pick up after yourself. This means all equipment that is used must be cleaned and returned to its proper place.  

8. All coaches’ equipment is strictly forbidden to be used by students; unless given permission by a coach.  

9. The area upstairs in off limits to all students and parents. It is a designated space for our professional athletes only.
